Our History
Spokane Computer was founded in 1966 by Joe Olson and partners to perform
service work for thier accounting firm. In the mid 1970s, as minicomputers
became affordable for the average business, Spokane Computer became an
authorized reseller for Digital Equipment Corp. and began developing software
applications for the PDP-11 minicomputer family. Eventually, technology moved
us from the PDP-11 to the VAX, Alphaserver, and Integrity platforms, and to
personal computers and networks.
Since 1983, Spokane Computer has been providing computer software solutions
for the Truck Equipment industry as an associate member of the National Truck
Equipment Association (NTEA). As technology has advanced and industry
changes have occurred, we have adapted to those changes with our products and
services. In addition to our flagship Financial Accounting and Control Software
(FACS), we also have TEQuote for technical equipment quoting as well as web
and windows software development. We have also developed custom software
solutions when a customer has a specific application need.
