TEQuote 6.8

  • Added a Quote Rule that will prompt the user with a warning (prior to exporing a Quote) that the Customer chosen for the Quote is inactive.
  • Added the ability to renumber a Part on a Quote to a specified unknown Part Number. A corresponding Group Permission has been added to toggle this option.
  • Modified the Update Packages in the Tools program to allow for migration of Customer, Part, and Labor Price Types.
  • Added the 5 price fields to the Part Info dialog box .
  • Added "Contact Type" field to the report source "Customer Contacts".
  • Added Image Object fields to the "Quote Detail Items" report source.
  • Some of the Quote user-defined note fields weren't allowing text to be entered when the Text & List option was chosen. This issue has been corrected.
  • The State field for Contacts has been reduced to 2 characters.
  • The Part Usage report has been expanded to show parts in a Part/Model Template based on Category, Sub-Category, and Manufacturer.
  • Deleting a Part did not delete any related Part Notes, thereby orphaning these records. This issue has been corrected.
  • There were problems determining the next Quote ID in databases that used inconsistent lengths of User Initials. This has been accounted for.
  • There was an issue at times with selecting Parts from a Model on a Quote when the Model Sequence had a configuration option of Required or Optional sequences and those required/optional sequences were set to Pick Many. This issue has been corrected.
  • The Part Search finder in Part and Model Template Options were not pulling up a User's default Part View. This has been corrected.
  • Add Quote Printing bookmarks for End User information.
  • The "Modify Part" Group Permission was not restricting users from changing all aspects of a Part when the permission was not checked. This issue has been corrected.
  • The "Modify Model" Group Permission was not restricting users from changing all aspects of a Model when the permission was not checked. This issue has been corrected.
  • If a Part/Model Template included a certain Category or Manufacturer in one sequence, and another Sequence was specified to Not include the same Category or Manufacturer, it would cancel the Options out and a selection could not be made for the first Sequence. This problem has been fixed.
  • Modified decimal fields in the Reports module to truncate trainling zeros.
  • Modified Tools - Update Package functionality to migrate Product Type Attributes.
  • Importing Parts from a text file was setting the Part Status to blank instead of A-Active. This has been corrected.
